HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) has announced its decision to sell the Lai Chau Mineral limited company through a public auction.

The starting bid for the auction has been fixed at VND2.4 billion (US$111,600), equivalent to the company's charter capital.

The company's total asset value is estimated to be VND7.3 billion ($340,000) and its debt has been pegged at VND21.8 billion ($1 million).

Lai Chau Mineral currently employs 39 staff members.

The auction is scheduled to take place on March 30 and the winner will have to absorb the company's debt and staff.

The company focuses on different activities, including mineral exploration and processing, mineral exports and imports, and trading in construction material. — VNS
