HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Nikkei 225 bounced back with a gain of 23.80 points to reach 14,225.37 on Tuesday, while the Topix Index (TPX) lost 0.45 point to end at 1,182.58 in Tokyo.
The Hang Seng Index (HSI) lost another 150.67 points in Hong Kong, ending at 23,038.95, but the benchmark Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index (SHCOMP) climbed 7.61 points to 2,157.24 in China.
The Straits Times Index (STI) in Singapore rose 1.60 points to finish at 3,205.5, while markets in Viet Nam also reported good results. The VN Index added 2.72 points to end at 499.79 in HCM City, while the HNX Index rose slightly by 0.48 points to end at 62.91 in the capital.— VNS
