HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Nikkei 225 crossed the 15,000 level again by adding 125.56 points to reach 15,071.88 on April 3.
The Topix Index also gained 5.41 points to finish at 1,216.77.
The Hang Seng Index added 41.14 points to end at 22,565.08 in Hong Kong, while the Shanghai Composite Index in mainland China lost 16.74 points to finish at 2,042.25.
In South-East Asia, the Straits Times Index edged up 24.81 points to end at 3,217.6 in Singapore. The two bourses in Viet Nam also advanced. The VN Index jumped 7.77 points to close at 589.44 in HCM City, and the HNX Index gained 1.94 points to end at 87.62 in the capital city.— VNS
