HA NOI (Biz Hub)— National stocks finished this morning's session higher, with most share indexes closing ahead.
On the HCM City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index reached 506.36 points, up 0.38 per cent, as trading value jumped to VND701 billion (US$33 million) and 43.4 million shares changed hands.
The VN30 Index, tracking the city's 30 leading shares in terms of capitalisation and liquidity, increased more than 0.4 per cent to 563.51 points. Only private equity group Masan (MSN), PetroVietnam General Services (PET), PetroVietnam Transportation (PVT) and Sacombank (STB) fell.
On the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, the benchmark HNX-Index added 0.24 per cent to reach 68.37 points, while the index representing stocks of the financial sector lost ground. The HNX30, composed of the northern bourse's top shares, gained 0.06 per cent to 128.98 points.
Trading value and volume were VND243.6 billion ($11.5 million) with 34.6 million shares changing hands. – VNS
