HA NOI (Biz Hub) ─ Most stock indices continued to lose value on Tuesday on Asian stock exchanges.
In China, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index dropped 19.29 points to close at 2,066.70, and the Hong Kong Hang Seng Index declined 97.08 points to end at 23,203.59.
Singapore's Straits Times Index ended 13.79 points lower at 3,276.47.
Viet Nam's HCM City Stock Exchange VN-Index also slid just 0.12 points to finish at 572.25, and while the HNX-Index closed up 0.57 points higher at 76.99.
The Japanese market was among a few bright spots of the day, with the Tokyo Stock Exchange Tokyo Price Index adding 3.52 points to end at 1,238.20, and the Nikkei 225 gaining 42.68 points to reach 14,975.97. ─ VNS
