HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The major Asian indices advanced on February 7, led by Japan's Nikkei 225 Index, which gained 311.97 points to end at 14,467.09.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng added 220.51 points to close at 21,643.64, while the Topix Index finished 26.77 points higher at 1,189.14.
In mainland China, the Shanghai Composite Index closed 11.41 points higher at 2,044.50, while, in Singapore, the Straits Times Index finished at 3,013.14, up 24.87 points.
In the local market, the VN Index lost 4.92 points to finish at 549.76 in HCM City, while the HNX Index slipped 0.26 points to close at 74.78 in the capital city of Viet Nam. — VNS
