Most Asian markets end lower but Viet Nam

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Hang Seng Index led the losers on March 13, dropping 145.87 points to end at 21,756.08 points in Hong Kong.

In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 lost 14.41 points to finish at 14,815.98 and the Topix Index slipped 3.48 points to close at 1,203.46 points. The Straits Times Index fell 16.04 points to close at 3,081.4 points in Singapore.

However, the two bourses in Viet Nam ended higher. The VN Index added 5.20 points to reach 595.22 in HCM City, and the HNX Index also edged up 0.98 points to close at 84.15 in the capital city of Viet Nam. The Shanghai Composite Index in mainland China also gained 21.42 points to reach 2,019.1. — VNS
