Most Asian indices slip, Chinese indices closed

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Most Asian indices closed down on April 6, while Chinese indices were closed in view of Chinh Ming Jie.

The Nikkei 225 dropped 37.10 points to close at 19,397.98, while the Topix Index lost 3.45 points to end at 1,560.71 in Tokyo.

The two bourses in Viet Nam also ended lower on the same day. The VN Index slipped 4.88 points to close at 542.97, while the HNX decreased 0.27 points to finish at 81.66.

The Straits Times Index added 1.42 to close at 3,455.17 in Singapore.

In view of the celebrations for the Ching Ming Festival, the Hang Seng Index remained at 25,275.64 in Hong Kong and the Shanghai Composite Index also stayed unchanged at 3,863.93 in mainland China. — VNS
