HA NOI (Biz Hub) —The Hang Seng Index lost 620.00 points, or nearly three per cent, to end the day at 23,367.45 in Hong Kong on December 1.
The Shanghai Composite Index in mainland China also lost 2.68 points to close at 2,680.16.
In Singapore, the Straits Times Index edged down 44.86 points to end at 3,305.64.
Meanwhile, the Nikkei 225 increased by 130.25 points to reach 17,421.65, and the Topix Index added 11.31 points to close at 1,421.65 in Tokyo.
The two bourses in Viet Nam also closed higher on the same day. The VN Index gained 1.43 points to close at 568.01, and the HNX edged up 0.02 points to finish at 88.44. — VNS
