HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Share prices ended mixed in Asia on December 8.
The Nikkei 225 increased by 15.19 points to reach 17,935.64, and the Topix Index added 1.91 points to close at 1,447.58 in Tokyo.
The Hang Seng Index added 45.03 points to reach 24,047.67 in Hong Kong, while the Shanghai Composite Index in mainland China also increased by 82.61 points to close at 3,020.26.
Share prices, however, fell in South-east Asia. In Singapore, the Straits Times Index declined by 26.55 points to end at 3,297.84.
The two bourses in Viet Nam also slid on the same day. The VN Index lost 7.08 points to close at 571.68, and the HNX slipped by 1.45 points to finish at 87.17. — VNS
