HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Asian market ended with mixed rates on December 29.
The Hang Seng Index jumped by 432.84 points to reach 23,773.18 in Hong Kong, while its country mate, the Shanghai Composite Index in mainland China, added 10.41 points to close at 3,168.02.
In Singapore, the Straits Times Index edged up 14.01 points to end at 3,367.69.
Meanwhile, the Nikkei 225 lost 89.12 points to end at 17,729.84, while the Topix Index slipped by 2.83 points to close at 1,424.67 in Tokyo.
The two bourses in Viet Nam closed with lower values on the same day. The VN Index declined by 0.69 points to close at 532.68, while the HNX edged down by 1.49 points to finish at 79.64. — VNS
