HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian shares ended mixed on Wednesday. In Ha Noi, the HNX Index gained 0.03 points to hit 65.02, while in HCM City the VN Index added 4.49 points to close at 503,37.
In China, the Shanghai Composite Index lost 13.45 points, closing at 2,143.45, but the Hang Seng Index lost 238.99 points to finish at 20,986.89 in Hong Kong. Singapore shares went down after the Straits Times Index lost 15.76 points to reach 3,213.79.
Tokyo's Nikkei 225 gained 237.94 points to end up with 13,245.22 and the Topix index gained 20.17 points to reach 1,106.57. — VNS
