HA NOI (Biz Hub) — While Japanese shares ended down on Tuesday, the Hang Seng Index (HSI) led others to close higher, gaining 39.96 points to close at 22,846.54.
The Straits Times Index (STI) in Singapore also gained 1.94 points to finish at 3,209.8, while investors in Viet Nam saw little change as the HNX Index in the capital city added 0.09 points to end at 61.50 while the VN Index in HCM City gained 0.62 points to end at 497.08.
Meanwhile, the Nikkei 225 lost 70.06 points to end at 14,325.98 and the Topix Index (TPX) declined 4.86 points to finish at 1,193.50 in Tokyo, while China's benchmark Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index (SHCOMP) slipped 5.01 points to 2,128.86.— VNS
