HA NOI (Biz Hub) —The Nikkei 225 reached 275.92 points to finish at 14,425.44 in Tokyo, whereas the Topix Index also gained 20.44 points to finish at 1,178.35 on May 13.
The Hang Seng Index added 90.77 points to end the day at 22,352.38 in Hong Kong while the Shanghai Composite Index slipped 2.14 points to finish at 2,050.73 in mainland China.
Two bourses in Viet Nam kept losing. The VN Index lost 3.14 points to close at 513.91 in HCM City, and the HNX Index declined 1.30 points to end at 69.39 in the capital city.
As Singapore spent a day off for Vesak Day, the Straits Times Index in Singapore stayed unchanged at 3,222.4. — VNS
