HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Maybank Kim Eng Securities Limited Company has increased its chartered capital to VND829.1 billion (US$38.84 million) from VND615 billion to fund expansion and improvement of its services.
This is the third capital hike by the Malaysian company, which is fully owned by Maybank, since it came to Viet Nam in April 2008.
Nguyen Hoang Thien Truc, its CEO, said the increase in capital is an important step for the company to achieve its vision of becoming the leading securities company in Viet Nam as well as a regional financial powerhouse. — VNS
