HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Many Asian stock indices ended lower on Monday.
The Tokyo Stock Exchange Tokyo Price Index lost 9.29 points to end at 1,234.68, and the Nikkei 225 declined 164.55 points to end at 14,933.29.
Viet Nam's benchmark VN-Index closed at 2.11 points to end at 572.37 on the HCM City Stock Exchange, and the HNX-Index slid 0.26 point to end at 76.42 on the Ha Noi market.
In China, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index gained 15.27 points to reach 2,085.98, while the Hong Kong Hang Seng Index slid 18.50 points to end at 23,300.67.
Singapore's Straits Times Index closed 2.37 points higher at 3,295.62. — VNS
