HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Major Asian indexes in both Japan and Hong Kong closed lower on July 7.
The Hang Seng Index slipped by 5.44 points to end at 23,540.92 in Hong Kong. The Nikkei 225 fell by 57.69 points to close at 15,379.44 in Tokyo. The Topix Index also lost 5.37 points to end the day at 1,279.87.
The Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.55 points to end at 2,059.93 in mainland China, while the Straits Times Index rose by 18.08 points to finish at 3,290.33 in Singapore.
The VN Index added 1.34 points to close at 590.69 in HCM City, but the HNX Index slipped by 0.52 points to end at 78.92 in the capital city— VNS
