HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Major Asian indices closed higher on April 13.
The Hang Seng Index jumped 743.95 points to reach 28,016.34 in Hong Kong. The Shanghai Composite Index increased by 87.41 points to reach 4,121.71 in mainland China.
The Straits Times Index added 12.52 points to close at 3,484.90 in Singapore.
The two bourses in Viet Nam ended mixed on the same day. The VN Index added 5.51 points to close at 559.54, but the HNX edged down 0.33 points to finish at 82.66.
The Nikkei 225 slipped 2.17 points to close at 19,905.46, while the Topix Index fell 3.28 points to end at 1,586.26 in Tokyo.— VNS
