HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Shares ended higher again on both stock exchanges on Thursday. In Ha Noi the HNX Index rose 0.79 points to 65.33 and in HCM City the VN Index gained 6.26 points to 520.9.
In China, the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 25.38 points to end at 2,242.11 while the Hang Seng Index also lost 230.81 points to 21,838.43 in Hongkong.
Singapore shares continued to end lower with the Straits Times Index slipping 49.92 points to 3,193.51.
In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 lost further 110.85 points to 12,904.02 and the Topix index declined 19.26 points, to 1,070.77. — VNS
