HA NOI (Biz Hub) ─ The price of Japanese stocks rebounded dramatically on Thursday as share prices remained mixed in other Asian markets.
In Japan, the Tokyo Stock Exchange Tokyo Price Index jumped by 20.25 points to close at 1,346.43, and the Nikkei 225 soared by 206.69 points to close at 16,374.14.
In Viet Nam, the VN-Index added 1.51 points to end at 605.1 points on the HCM City Stock Exchange, and the HNX-Index finished 0.94 point higher at 88.65.
In China, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index edged up 1.53 points to close at 2,345.10 while in Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index slumped by 153.48 points to end at 23,768.13.
In Singapore, the Straits Times Index finished 0.55 point lower at 3,292.26. ─ VNS
