Japan and Viet Nam buck upward Asian trend

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The share prices of most Asia-Pacific stock markets increased on November 10 except for the Japanese and Viet Nam bourses.

In Japan, the Nikkei 225 lost by 99.85 points to finish at 16,780.53 and the Topix Index slipped by 3.56 points to end at 1,360.11.

In Viet Nam, the VN index lost 0.47 points to close at 602.12, and the HNX edged down by 0.03 point to finish at 89.51.

In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index climbed by 194.46 points to end at 23,744.70 while in mainland China, the Shanghai Composite Index added 55.5 points to close at 2,473.67.

In Singapore, the Straits Times Index edged up by 18.24 points to end at 3,304.63.— VNS
