HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Hang Seng Index (HSI) rallied 76.94 points to reach 24,218.44 in Hong Kong on July 25.
On the same day, the Shanghai Composite Index also closed up 26.57 points to finish at 2,126.61 in mainland China.
Meanwhile, the Nikkei 225 added 173.45 points to end at 15,457.87 and the Topix Index too gained 11.49 points to end the day at 1,281.35 in Tokyo.
The Straits Times Index, on the other hand, slipped 3.72 points to stand at 3,350.2 in Singapore. Viet Nam's bourses also closed down. The VN index edged down 1.92 points to finish at 600.14 and the HNX fell 0.99 points to close at 79.43 in the capital city.— VNS
