The Ministry of Finance on Thursday appointed Nguyen Nhu Quynh, member of the board of directors at the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, as the new deputy chairperson of the northern market bourse.
The 43-year-old will replace the exchange’s deputy chairperson Nguyen Thi Hoang Lan on March 1.
The new deputy general director of the northern market bourse graduated from economic and financial programmes at Kobe University and Hitotsubashi University in Japan.
He worked at the finance ministry for 19 years before taking a place on the market regulator’s board of directors in July 2018.
Lan worked at the Ha Noi Stock Exchange for 12 years after spending 20 years working for other organisations such as the State Bank of Viet Nam and the State Securities Commission.
She also received the Labour Medal, second class, from the deputy minister of finance Huynh Quang Hai on Thursday. She will retire on March 1. — VNS
