HA NOI (Biz Hub) —The Nikkei 225 climbed 303.54 points to reach 14,935.92 in Tokyo, whereas the Topix Index also added 19.06 points to end the day at 1,220.47, on June 2.
The Hang Seng Index added 71.51 points to finish at 23,081.65 in Hong Kong while the Straits Times Index closed up 6.39 points, to reach 3,302.2 in Singapore.
As China continued with their celebrations of the Dragon Boat Festival, the Shanghai Composite Index stayed unchanged at 2,039.21 in mainland China.
On the other hand, two bourses in Viet Nam ended lower. The VN Index lost 5.22 points to close at 556.80 in HCM City while the HNX Index lost 0.99 points to end at 74.81 in the capital city.— VNS
