Digital World JSC (Digiworld) has set its sights on increasing its total revenue by a fifth in 2020 to VND10.2 trillion (US$437.3 million).
The company is also targeting a post-tax profit jump by a quarter to VND202 billion this year.
In 2019, Digiworld earned nearly VND8.5 trillion worth of total revenue, up 43 per cent year-on-year, and net profit gained 47 per cent to VND163 billion.
In the fourth quarter alone, the company's revenue and net profit both increased by 60 per cent on-year thanks to the growth of sales for laptops, tablets, mobile phones and office supplies.
Digiworld shares (HoSE: DGW) rose 0.9 per cent to end Tuesday at VND26,800 per share.
The company's shares have risen a total of 15.5 per cent in the last six trading days.
Digiworld recently decided to issue 1.2 million ESOP shares to its employees at VND10,000 per share in the first quarter of 2020.
The bonus shares will be restricted from trading for a year. ESOP shares often give a company's employees an ownership interest in the firm. – VNS
