HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Share prices in the stock markets of Mainland China, Hong Kong and Viet Nam increased while the rest declined on October 28.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index climbed by 377.13 points to reach 23,520.36 while in mainland China, the Shanghai Composite Index added two per cent or 47.43 points to close at 2,337.87.
In Viet Nam, the VN index edged up by 2.33 points to close at 583.13, and the HNX gained 0.90 points to finish at 85.27.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 lost by 58.81 points to finish at 15,329.91, and the Topix Index slipped by 2.28 points to end at 1,252.00.
In Singapore, the Straits Times Index fell by 14.46 points to end at 3,211.65. —VNS
