HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Share prices in stock markets across the Asia-Pacific region declined on November 6 with the exception of mainland China and Viet Nam.

The Shanghai Composite Index in China added 6.61 points to reach 2,425.86. In Viet Nam, the VN index added 0.84 points to close at 597.85, and the HNX edged up by 0.64 points to finish at 89.32.

In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index declined by 46.31 points to close at 23,649.31. In Japan, the Nikkei 225 closed down by 144.84 points to finish at 16,792.48, and the Topix Index lost 15.41 points to end at 1,356.35.

In Singapore, the Straits Times Index edged down by 3.3 points to end at 3,290.96. — VNS
