HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Major indices across the Asian region ended lower on Friday except for China and Singapore.
The Straits Times Index in Singapore added 1.22 points to end at 3,292.21 while the Shanghai Composite Index in China added 2.62 points to close at 2,347.72.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index lost 89.72 points to close the day at 23,678.41. In Viet Nam, the VN index lost 0.12 point to close at 604.98 and the HNX lost 0.09 point to finish at 88.56.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 lost 144.28 points to finish at 16,229.86 while the Topix Index declined by 14.48 points to end at 1,331.95.— VNS
