HA NOI (Biz Hub) --Asian markets ended mixed on Thursday, as the Nikkei 225 led the losers, closing 173.24 points lower to close at 15,341.82.
Also, the Topix Index (TPX) dropped 8.22 points to finish at 1,242.23 in Tokyo
In Honk Kong, the Hang Seng Index lost 120.12 points to finish at 23, 218.12, while the benchmark Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index (SHCOMP) slipped 1.37 points to finish at 2,202.80.
On the gaining side, the Straits Times Index (STI) rose 1.74 points to finish at 3,062.50
Further, the VN Index went up 1.61 points to finish at 506.92 in HCM City, and the Ha Noi HNX Index added 0.40 points to end at 65.97 in the capital city. — VNS
