Asian stock markets rise


Most Asian stock markets rose on July 10 following positive signals from China, as Chinese stocks gained for a second day.

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Most Asian stock markets rose on July 10 following positive signals from China, as Chinese stocks gained for a second day.

The Shanghai Index added 168.47 points to close at 3,877.80 in China, and the Hang Seng Index increased 508.49 points to end at 24,901.28 in Hong Kong. Also, the Straits Times Index gained 12.48 to close at 3,279.88 in Singapore, while the Nikkei 225 lost 75.67 points to end at 19,779.83 in Japan.

In Viet Nam, the VN Index rose 5.18 points to end at 627.28 on the HCM Stock Exchange, while the HNX Index gained slightly, rising 0.32 points to close at 88.24 on the Ha Noi Stock Exchange. — VNS
