Asian shares slump except for VN


The Asian market fell on December 30, but indexes went up in Viet Nam. The VN Index added 4.89 points to close at 537.57, while the HNX also increased by 1.27 points to end the day at 80.91

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Asian market fell on December 30, but indexes went up in Viet Nam.

The VN Index added 4.89 points to close at 537.57, while the HNX also increased by 1.27 points to end the day at 80.91.

In Japan, the Nikkei 225 dropped by 297.07 points to close at 17,450.77. The Topix Index declined by 17.16 points to end at 1,407.51.

The Hang Seng Index was reduced by 272.08 points to close at 23,027.85 in Hong Kong, while the Shanghai Composite Index lost 2.22 points to end the day at 3,165.81 in mainland China.

The Straits Times Index declined by 3.50 points to end at 3,364.19 in Singapore.— VNS
