HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Share prices closed higher across Asia on Wednesday as Viet Nam indices maintained the momentum achieved in the previous week.
The Hang Seng Index climbed by 568.93 points to reach 25,317.95 in Hong Kong while the Nikkei 225 increased by 59.73 points to reach 15,728.35, and the Topix Index closed 4.52 points higher to end the day at 1,301.52.
The Shanghai Composite Index also added 22.58 points to finish at 2,288.63 in mainland China, and the Straits Times Index gained 16.97 points to end the day at 3,345.3 in Singapore.
The VN index gained 4.10 points to close at 640.75, and the HNX also increased by 0.29 points to finish at 87.33 in the capital city. — VNS
