HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian shares ended mixed on Tuesday. In Ha Noi, the HNX Index gained 0.17 points to hit 64.99, while in HCM City the VN Index added 0.36 points to close at 498.88.
In China, the Shanghai Composite Index gained 8.87 points, closing at 2,159.29, but the Hang Seng Index lost 0.02 points to finish at 21,225.88 in Hong Kong. Singapore shares rose with the Straits Times Index up 46.11 points to reach 3,229.6.
Tokyo's Nikkei 225 lost 25.84 points to end up with 13,007.28 and the Topix index gained 1.68 points to reach 1,086.40. — VNS
