HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Hang Seng Index (HSI) jumped an impressive 457.48 points to 23,304.02 on Wednesday, leading strong gains across Asia.
Japan's Nikkei 225 advanced 176.37 points ending at 14,502.35, while the Topix Index (TPX) in Tokyo, picked up 11.00 points to close at 1,204.50 .
The benchmark Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index (SHCOMP) added 31.60 points to 2,160.46, while the Straits Times Index (STI) in Singapore also gained 21.62 points to finish at 3,230.4.
Investors were optimistic in Viet Nam with the HNX Index up 0.08 points to 61.58 in the capital city, while the VN Index gained 1.99 points to 499.07 in HCM City.— VNS
