HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian market, with the exception of Viet Nam, ended higher on May 11.
The Nikkei 225 gained 241.72 points to end at 19,620.91, while the Topix Index added 10.57 points to close at 1,598.33.
At the same time, the Hang Seng Index added 140.86 points to reach 27,718.20 in Hong Kong, while the Shanghai Composite Index increased 127.67 points to close at 4,333.58 in mainland China.
The Strait Times Index increased 18.79 points to end at 3,470.80 in Singapore.
While two burses in Viet Nam reduced, VN Index lost 2.84 points to close at 551.67 and HNX Index slipped 0.53 points to close at 79.76 in Viet Nam.— VNS
