HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian shares closed with mixed results on July 31.
The Hang Seng Index added 138.3 points to close at 24,636.28 in Hong Kong. In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 gained 62.41 points to end at 20,585.24.
By contrast, the Shanghai Composite Index fell 42.04 points to 3,663.73 in mainland China.
Singapore's Straits Times Index also lost 47.02 points to end at 3,202.5. In Viet Nam, the VN Index dropped 5.51 points to close at 621.06, and the HNX Index slipped 0.67 points to close at 85.13.— VNS
