HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian indices ended on a mixed note on March 24.
The Nikkei 225 lost 40.91 points to close at 19,713.45, while the Topix Index slipped 4.66 points to close at 1,587.59 in Tokyo.
The Hang Seng Index also decreased 94.91 points to close at 24,399.60 in Hong Kong.
Viet Nam's bourses closed down on the same day. The VN Index lost 3.46 points to close at 567.43, while the HNX also edged down 0.62 points to finish at 83.32.
On the other hand, the Shanghai Composite Index rose by 3.68 points to close at 3,691.41 in mainland China and the Straits Times Index added 3.13 points to end at 3,413.26 in Singapore. —VNS
