HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian markets closed on a mixed note on March 2.
The Nikkei 225 added 28.94 points to close at 18,826.88, while the Topix Index gained 1.12 points to close at 1,524.97 in Tokyo.
Also gaining, the Hang Seng Index edged up 67.81 points to close at 24,891.10 in Hong Kong and the Shanghai Composite Index was up 25.98 points to close at 3,336.29 in mainland China.
Meanwhile, the Straits Times Index fell 3.59 points to end at 3,399.27 in Singapore.
The two bourses in Viet Nam also ended lower on the same day. The VN Index slipped 1.84 points to close at 590.73, while the HNX lost 0.30 points to finish at 85.48 — VNS
