HA NOI (Biz Hub)— Asian stocks advanced with Nikkei 225 gaining 237.12 points to close at 15,134.75 points and the Topix Index rose 15.46 points closing at 1,228.36 points in Tokyo, on March 6.
The Hang Seng Index added 123.19 points to end at 22,702.97 points in Hong Kong, while the Shanghai Composite Index in mainland China increased 6.49 points to reach 2,053.08 points.
Also gaining, the Straits Times Index increased 10.26 points to close at 3,126.9 points in Singapore. The VN Index added 3.62 points to reach 578.56 points in HCM City and the HNX Index also edged up 0.61 points to close at 81.81 points in the capital city of Viet Nam. — VNS
