HA NOI (Biz Hub)— Hang Seng Index (HSI) led the Asian market, gaining 325.46 points to close at 23,069.85.
The Nikkei 225 followed, closing 183.04 points higher at 14,269.84. The Topix Index (TPX) in Tokyo added 9.23 points to close at 1,185.65.
Other gainers today included benchmark Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index (SHCOMP), which added 3.34 points to close at 2,109.47, the Straits Times Index (STI) which edged up 9.47 points to finish at 3,186.7.
In the local market, the VN Index jumped 2.57 points to end at 501.08 in HCM City; the HNX Index in Ha Noi rose 0.76 points to close at 64.06.— VNS
