HA NOI (Biz Hub) -- The Nikkei 225 gained 176.15 points to reach 14,897.63, and the Topix Index rose 8.79 points to close at 1,212.90 in Tokyo on March 5.
The Straits Times Index increased 11.93 points to end at 3,116.64 in Singapore .The two bourses in Viet Nam also added. The VN Index added 4.97 points to end at 574.94 in HCM City, and the HNX Index gained 0.85 points to finish at 81.20 in the capital city of Viet Nam.
On the other hand, the Hang Seng Index lost 77.85 points to end at 22,579.78 in Hong Kong, while the Shanghai Composite Index in mainland China lost 18.39 points to reach 2,053.08 . — VNS
