HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian markets ended on a mixed note on July 16.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index gained 107.02 points to close at 25,162.78, while in mainland China, the Shanghai Composite Index added 17.47 points to close at 3,823.18.
In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 added 136.79 points to end at 20,600.12. Singapore's Strait Times Index also climbed, by 14.59 points, to end at 3,353.45.
However, the two bourses in Viet Nam ended lower. The VN Index lost 3.99 points to close at 626.90 and the HNX Index slipped 0.07 points to close at 87.59.— VNS
