Asian shares end mixed

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian markets ended on a mixed note on July 14.

In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index slipped 103.1 points to close at 25,120.91, while in mainland China, the Shanghai Composite Index dropped 45.9 points to close at 3,924.49.

However, in Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 added 296.56 points to end at 20,385.33. Singapore's Strait Times Index also climbed, by 5.28 points, to end at 3,316.50.

The two bourses in Viet Nam ended higher. The VN Index added 4.63 points to reach 638.69, while the HNX Index added 0.16 points to close at 88.74. — VNS
