HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian markets ended mixed on May 20.
The Nikkei 225 gained 170.18 points to end at 20,196.56, while the Topix Index added 10.07 points to close at 1,643.40.
The Shanghai Composite Index also added 28.74 points to close at 4,446.29 in mainland China.
Two burses in Viet Nam ended up. The VN Index increased 13.28 points to close at 550.10, and the HNX Index added 1.90 points to close at 79.34 in Viet Nam.
Meanwhile, the Hang Seng Index lost 108.49 points to close at 27,585.05 in Hong Kong, and the Strait Times Index lost 14.36 points to end at 3,439.68 in Singapore. — VNS
