HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian markets closed mixed on March 6.
The Nikkei 225 added 291.16 points to close at 18,971, while the Topix Index gained 17.12 points to close at 1,540.84 in Tokyo.
The Straits Times Index also increased 22.24 points to end at 3,417.51 in Singapore.
In contrast, the Hang Seng Index lost 29.04 points to close at 24,164 in Hong Kong, and the Shanghai Composite Index lost 7.29 points to close at 3,241.19 in mainland China.
The two bourses in Viet Nam also ended lower on the same day. The VN Index dropped 2.94 points to close at 593.97, while the HNX also slipped 0.02 points to finish at 86.79 — VNS
