HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian shares closed downward on August 11.
The Hang Seng Index lost 22.91 points to close at 24,498.21 in Hong Kong, while the Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.51 points to end at 3,927.91 in mainland China.
In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 lost 87.94 points to end at 20,720.75, while Singapore's Straits Times Index also dropped 43.6 points to end at 3,153.06. In Viet Nam, the VN Index lost 1.48 points to close at 613.05, and the HNX Index fell by 0.57 points to close at 83.84.— VNS
