HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Asian market ended higher on May 8.While the Nikkei 225 gained 87.20 points to end at 19,379.19, the Topix Index added 13.12 points to close at 1,587.76
At the same time, the Hang Seng Index added 287.37 points to reach 27,577.34 in Hong Kong, while the Shanghai Composite Index increased 93.70 points to close at 4,205.92 in mainland China.
The Strait Time Index increased 21.10 points to end at 3,453.88 in Singapore. Stocks in Viet Nam also ended higher.
The VN Index added 1.53 points to close at 554.51, and the HNX Index gained 0.36 points to close at 80.29 in Viet Nam.— VNS
