HA NOI (Biz Hub) —Asian share markets ended up on Friday excluding the HNX Index which fell slightly, by 0.11 points to end at 61.70 in Ha Noi. The VN Index in HCM City added 2.40 points to close at 500.62.
The benchmark Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index (SHCOMP) gained 7.34 points to sit at 2,052.24, while the Hang Seng Index (HSI) climbed 148.04 points to close at 21,803.92 in Hong Kong and The Straits Times Index (STI) gained 5.02 points to finish on 3,229.9 in Singapore.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 (NKY) gained by 9.63 to finish at 13,615.19 while the Topix Index (TPX) climbed 1.32 points to close at 1,140.91. — VNS
