HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Hang Seng Index added 8.78 points to close at 22,836.96 in Hong Kong on February 28, while the Shanghai Composite Index in mainland China increased 8.95 to reach 2,056.30.
The Straits Times Index gained 9.21 points to end the day at 3,094.0 in Singapore.
The VN Index edged up 1.69 points to close at 586.48 in Ho Chi Minh City, and the HNX Index also added 0.49 points to reach 83.12 in the capital city of Viet Nam.
On the losing side, the indices in Japan declined in the same day. The Nikkei 225 lost 82.04 points to close at 14,841.07, and the Topix Index declined 5.69 points to end the day at 1,211.66 in Tokyo. — VNS
