HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Shares ended Monday evenly mixed in Viet Nam and China and lower in Japan and Singapore. In Ha Noi, the HNX Index rose 0.27 points to 64.89, but the VN Index lost 1.36 points to 517.03 in HCM City.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.57 points to end at 2,299.25. The Shenzhen Component Index dipped 6.71 points to 9,404.40.
Singapore shares ended lower with the Straits Times Index slipping 22.87points to 3,288.50.
In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 lost 512.72 to 13,261.82, while the broader Topix index of all first-section shares down 38.83 points, to 1,096.95.— VNS
